WebCO2 monitors are a useful way to estimate airflow rates. The amount of CO2 in the air is measured in parts per million (ppm). 1000ppm is equivalent to about 10 litres per second, per person. CO2 levels consistently higher than 1500ppm in an occupied room indicate poor ventilation and you should take action to improve it. WebCO alarms and CO detection systems must be maintained in accordance with NFPA 720 (2015). If an alarm or a detector becomes inoperable or begins producing end-of-life signals, it must be replaced.
