Honestly, I'd just focus on using Master classes for the free stat bonuses instead of ranking up if you really like the Advanced ones. WebDark Mage and Bishop don't benefit Hubert any more than any other regular mage, and Mage at least gives Fiendish Blow. Dark Bishop is pretty alright, though. Yeah, Dark Mage is pretty horrible, but Hubert at least uses Dark Bishop pretty well. He gets no use from Warlock having Black Tomefaire so he can at least use double fiendish blow.
